Raphe Median Planes

The raphe median plane describes the physical middle of the model.

Upper Jaw

The raphe median plane describes the physical middle of the model. In the upper jaw this is the plane described by the middle between the two tuber maxillae points and the middle of the incisors.
You may move the plane by using the slider or moving the arrows shown on the plane. To reset the plane to its origin you may click “Auto Detect”.

Lower Jaw

In the lower jaw the middle is also described by a plane between the middle of the incisors and the middle of the two retromolar pads.
You may move the plane by using the slider or moving the arrows shown on the plane. To reset the plane to its origin you click “Auto Detect”.
